I'm guessing the caulk around the base might be worn away from the looks of it..? My reason for ruling out the tank being, my mom visited last week and she thought the tank was leaking and blamed the bidet (Which was removed to test it), but it's not even wet underneath the tank.
With that ruled out, I'm not exactly a handyman around the house.. So, how much of a pain in the ass will this all be/cost? I figure if it's simple enough I could do it myself.

caulk around the base of the toilet? I didn't think it needed caulking.

https://diy.stackexchange.com/questions/68468/are-toilets-supposed-to-be-caulked-to-the-floor

I think if that's where it's leaking from, then it's the actual connection to the floor pipe, or something. I don't know the details. I know my dad can swap toilets with relative ease, so it can't be too hard.

It's strangely interesting to hear it's debated whether or not to do it lol.. the floor around the base is tiled and close to the shower, so that might be why it was done? :/
Any guesses if it's a connection to the floor how much of a pain it might be, cost/skill wise?

my dad says there's a thing called a "wax ring" which is what makes the seal to the floor. overtime the seal can fail. only costs like a few bucks to replace.

I mean ueah, I could figure it out, and probably could do it. I I didn't know what a wax ring was, but I could research it. And yeah, I know that I'd have to turn the water off to the toilet.

You know what, I probably could have done it pretty easily.

The installer did caulking with this one and after reading Sahuagin's link, it's a heated debate whether you should or not lol.
