"We are writing to inform you that PlayStation™Store now collects sales tax on products and services sold to customers in Colorado. The sales tax charged on each order is determined by your state, county and city tax rates."

Well, that's unfortunate. The lack of sales tax is the only reason I buy digital, so I guess it's going to be physical games on PS4 from now on.

Sucks for you. My US PSN account is set for New York to avoid that. How do you pay? Do you use gift cards / PayPal or something else? Gift cards and PayPal won't add state taxes as long as the account has the right state to avoid it, but something like a bank Visa debit card will follow the state taxes on the card. Perhaps your PSN account can move to another state and just use PP or gift cards for payment.

I'm pretty sure you've always should've been paying sales tax on it, now they're just applying it automatically. Not that anyone in their right mind goes out of their way to pay that shit.
