An amazing game and one of the best games released this year. What else is there to say?

Platinum isn't that much additional work. Most materials for upgrading weapons and pods are easily bought, and all others can be either received as quest rewards or are easily farmed. The only annoying parts are getting all the bad endings (even with chapter select it takes several hours) and getting up to 95% unit data for the Elaborate Gadget quest reward. Took many reloads to find several enemies.

I recommend playing NieR before starting this, the references throughout the game make it a much better experience (like the Iron Pipe weapon story ;_;).

Persona 5 or NieR: Automata? Um... ask me again in five months.

It's a good thing you don't have to 100% the enemy list and the fishing list, both of them are very long and boring

the fishing list is only 40 items or so, I didn't finish it but I don't think it seemed like a big deal

getting 95% on the unit list was a pain due to the repeated reloads for certain enemies to spawn and I don't even want to know how long it would take to get 100%

There are some fish that are very, very, very rare
There are reports of people that it took them like 4 hours to get a Swordfish

Not even mentioning the best callback. "Because this is the world my friend tried to save!"

Fishing wasn't that bad to 100% provided you know what fish/stuff can be found at what places. 100% Enemy List was more annoying thanks to the reloading. These specific enemies in the desert towards late-game were particularly annoying with horrid spawn rates.

Amazing game. Not my GotY because 2017 is ridiculous, but probably #2 to Trails in the Sky the 3rd so far. Putting it ahead of P5 and BotW but man all 4 of those games could be GotY in other years fairly easily. And I expect even Trails to get displaced by Last Recode later this year.

The start didn't wow me but route C was one of the most ridiculously insane WTF holy **** this is awesome moments I've had in a video game. I even beat the credits bullet hell game without help because of ****ty internet in my country.

Amazing game overall but it is 2017 and there are even better games

Persona 5 = BotW > Nioh > Horizon: Zero Dawn >= Nier: Automata > Resident Evil 7

And just to let you know how insane 2017 is, Resident 7 would be a huge contender for GotY in just about any other year.

And by the way speaking of another 2017 game, Tales of Berseria is a very very good Tales game. I'm only about 10 hours in though but it is far better than any Tales game I've played after Vesperia. Granted I still have to go back and finish Graces, Xillia and Zestiria. All of which I gave up at some point due to boredom.

I tried doing this myself for about 2 hours but I gave up. Marketing Division is one of the hardest final bosses I have ever faced.
The most amazing part is how Weight of the World isn't getting annoying, but rather you grow to like it more and more
