But I think it's only a matter of time until I yell at someone really loudly at work.

This woman... thinks I am so stupid, that she literally gives me a "tip" on how to do my job every single minute. She thinks she's being so nice about it.

We earn $8.15 an hour woman. We work in a union. Stories of people getting fired or laid off are urban legend. No one gets promoted and no one gets raises. I do not need to be perfect.

That's not even the worst part. A *different* lady just joined, and she has Autism (not an insult that's actually true), but she bullies me. She makes jokes about me behind my back.

She's 50 years old, her voice sounds like chalkboard screeching, she's obese and she looks like an ogre, and she's bullying me. She harasses me about me putting my stuff away, if I leave any shit out for a second, she'll go "jamies leaving stuff out again, wow, unexpected" and "at least I didn't do it like jamie would".

So I put my shit away faster, and the OTHER woman tells me I don't have to put my shit away and she gives me a 30 second rant on how the customer comes first!

That really does sound aggravating. Makes me angry just reading about it lol

There is a guy at work who told the boss that I couldn't do my job properly and wanted to do it himself.
Needless to say, he's a fucking sloth and does an even worse job than me.
What's so funny is that no one has ever complained on my work(except this guy because he was jealous or something I guess), but loads of people have complained about him not doing what he's supposed to.

I mean this guy just wanted the car so he could buy his booze during work hours and I always see him slacking off drinking coffee or smoking cigs.

The sooner I get my degree the better.

Every coder I've ever talked to has been totally reasonable.

I'm transferring asap, I have my doubts on whether or not I'll let them know why I don't want to work at their desperately understaffed store.

The store I'm transferring to is even shittier, but I'm rolling the dice. I love my customers. I've never had a problem with all the wonderful customers I get. I get an old old guy coming in and he tells me his name is Bill, and his life hasn't been very great lately but he's hanging in there. He says he'll be seeing me around, like he just wants someone to talk to because he's so lonely.

Hell I'll stay for Bill.

I had a couple coworkers make up stories about me to get me fired because they knew people were getting laid off before. No surprise the sociopaths are up on top, right? And then their companies come crashing down because they don't understand good nature.

Maybe try to get a new job. Idk how far you are in your degree but if you are in 3rd/4th year your school may have resources like a job board or career adviser that can set you up to be a code monkey for a bit.

There's a manager that came to my store about a month ago who's almost exactly the same, except she neither is nor tries to be nice. She just assumes she's the only one who knows how to do her job - despite the fact that we literally just finished teaching her everything she knows.

It gets old being ordered around and told how to do things when I basically ran this store for years before she walked in. And the worst part is that she's wrong nearly half the time. She's supposedly being groomed to run another store, but with her attitude and track record I can only see any store she runs being run into the ground. She really wears on my already greater than average patience.

To be fair that's what managers do. Depending where you are on the food chain they don't give a shit. It does get frustrating when people on the same level as you try and tell you how to do things though. If you want their help that's fine but when you don't they become a hindrance.
