Don't matter if you work at McDonalds or Target, you gotta wear a nicely pressed suit that looks like it just came out the dry cleaners to work. If you at a place that already has this policy then you can't get this deal.

the industry's in a downturn right now, as you may be aware, so it's not really in "warm bodies" mode at the moment
if you want to get in, i'd start looking at degrees targeting drilling engineering or geology or petroleum land management
or start poking around service companies in the baker hughes ilk for potential field positions
