Only cleared the first world so far but it's pretty damn good. Not "go buy a Switch immediately" good but it's pretty solid title for the Switch so far.

Not gonna lie I looked at a youtube video of it and it looked like a fun game. Rabbid inclusion give it a much less kiddy feel

When I buy a switch I'll consider it, I think it looks too fun/funny to pass up

Aren't the rabbids just the game equivalent of minions?

I'm definitely keeping an eye on this one. When the Mario-Rabbids crossover was first announced, I figured it just sounded overwhelmingly stupid, but the E3 information on it really piqued my interest. I'm cautiously very optimistic about it.

I saw gameplay of it and was pleasantly surprised, but I don't think I could play more than an hour of it without getting bored and putting it away forever.

my son and i are really liking it so far

I just got past the first mini-boss (1-5 or -6 I think?) and got my first new character, and yeah its pretty fun

It does seem a bit repetitive, but perhaps it's a good type of game for only playing a short bit at a time instead of long sessions that get you bored

edit: oh, but the music is awesome

Tuesday night watched GotG 2, played some MGS V

Last night watched Alien: Covenant, more MGS V

Maybe tonight I'll dive into it. Was thinking of renting another movie, though. Way behind on movies.

So far, with this game and BotW, there's two games I want on the Switch. I should limit myself to not buying a console unless it has like 10 games I want on it.

That's sensible.

I tend to buy a lot of games and consoles when they're brand new, which ends up being a bad idea because most of them I play for 30 minutes and then shelve them in favor of a game that is more fun or engaging. Dozens of games on my shelf that I've started and never finished, then a year or so later those games are a fraction of the price. Haven't quite learned my lesson lol

I have steam sales to get me all the games I'll ever need XD That's made it easy to basically just say no to consoles unless I really want a bunch of games on them...well...except for PlayStation. As long as there's Disgaea I'd buy a PS console. I have yet to play D2 and D5 though but I really want to.
