Lower voltages like your standard 125v stuff can actually be more dangerous then some high voltage stuff, due to the fact that when electrocuted your muscles will seize up and if your hand is involved it could possibly death grip the source keeping you rooted there being shocked until you die, where as some more powerful voltages will just blowup in your face....still very dangerous btw but at least theres some chance of survival as the concussion will throw you away from the source.
