it sucks. She's supposed to be talkin bout pathogenesis, and she's spent 15 minutes talking about different ways you can end up eating poop. And then bout how you can get aerosol droplets into your respiratory tract. Long af stories about people preparing meat and touching bathroom handles and stuff. Like there are no specifics or new concepts. She's just going at lengths talkin bout how you can get bacteria into your body. Like the fact that I can browse CE while listening really says it all. We have slides like this:

funny you post that cuz I was legit skipping lectures entirely and doing pathoma/first aid last week and I failed the quiz. We apparently using goljan and Robbins which are more detailed

In my 2nd year, I no longer attended lecture. I streamed the lecture at home at 2x speed in the afternoon. I would do board prep that correlated with the current unit in class every morning.

You still need to look at your class notes because your professors will focus on weird minutiae. But pathoma/sketchy/UW should give enough of a base that a casual read through the slides should serve you well.

Also depends how much you care about grades. I was fine with straight Bs and did relatively better on Step 1.

That's my new plan atm. Just need to catch up from everything I missed last week as they continue to pile micro lectures on us. I've already finished pathoma for this block and the pharm and patho FA, so I just have the micro FA left.
