@Vlado what is your stance on female genital mutilation in various other countries, mainly but not limited to African countries, if it is acceptable and highly regarded within the culture in which it is practiced? Should it be respected within said cultures for nationalistic reasons? Should humanitarian efforts to eradicate it be frowned upon as globalist agenda? I don't think we've covered this subject yet, so I am most curious as to your thoughts on it...

But it is a cultural thing in cultures that practice it. In some African tribes, girls are not considered women until they have their clitoris removed, and those that don't are shunned and can't be married (or at least no men would be willing to marry a non-mutilated woman because non-mutilation is taboo in the culture).

I mean I agree with you about it being immoral and irreparably damaging. Any decent human being would. I'm just playing advocate and clarifying context.
