I got a message from this random account out of nowhere. I have a PSNProfiles account, so I get friend requests and play games with randos, but this was just "Hi, I got your PSN name through this app and thought I'd talk to you, what's up? How old r u?" Obviously pretty suss, but I'm genuinely interested about what the fuck is going on.

I send back "22." and I get an instant response: "22/f... whatcha doin". I'm now talking about Overwatch and shit, and I think they're about to try and phish me. Will keep CE updated.

Obviously gonna bail if shit gets creepy. The specification that they're the same age as me and female, only specified after getting my age, gives me an uneasy feeling in my gut.

I think I broke the bot's script, I mentioned it being sketchy and it replied with "lol its not sketchy, your actually kind of sketchy". I went through way too much effort pointing out how fucked up the situation was on her part, tracking me down on a platform where she doesn't have an account and trying to sell me on a streaming service in the span of 30 minutes, and she mentioned being from california and the website needing a credit card number "to keep out the kids".

I have to say, it was a fun and interesting experience. I was just gonna start playing South Park: The Stick of Truth, but I got accosted by a bot instead. Now I'm sending words from Zork to it, and attaching photos from Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker of a guy doing squats. Also, "can you pass the turing test"
