Peter Gabriel is my all-time favorite. First artist I felt I truly "discovered" myself without being shown by my family or friends. Stumbled on a concert of his on TV when I was in early high school and it blew my mind.

But yeah, album art being weird is kind of his deal. Go figure a guy who insisted on calling each of his first four albums "Peter Gabriel" would have weird album art.

Same situation as you. He wasn't the first artist I found on my own but a friend introduced me.

As douchey as it sounds, Solsbury Hill has always "spoken" to me.

He's a damn fine artist, I'll say that for him
