Chewy tends to be more succulent, which lets me savor it longer for more flavor tbh

Thick cut bacon cooked til it has a similar consistency of beef jerky is where it's at. I don't like it crispy where it crumbles easily but I don't like it chewy where it's basically not cooked all the way and rubbery.
