Algus sheathed his bloodied sword and continued on his merry way. -- Yhwach sits in a ramshackle building, reading a book about the lore of the land. There was some commotion going outside for a bit but Yhwach ignores it. He knew how that would have played out… He chuckles to himself as he glances out at the shining moon outside. In time he would put the book away and head out into the streets -- Prince Brandish runs into a strange man with bloody red eyes standing among the corpses of various monsters the seemed to be running around the city “Well hello there good sir. How are you? I don’t suppose you know of any places of interest in this quaint little city mmm?” The man turns to him and says nothing. With a flick of his wrist a weapon he had been holding seems to change and extend its blade “Oh come now there is no need for all that. Just tell me what I would like to know and there will be no trouble mmm? Trust me, I am not someone you would like to cross…” The man stumbles toward him and then breaks into a sprint with weapon in hand “What a bother, I was hoping I wouldn’t have to sully my sword…” Prince Brandish held his blade up in preparation “En garde” To Prince Brandish’s surprise this fellow was quite agile. The blood soaked man used hit and run tactics, moving in for quick assaults only to dodge away in quick succession until… SHINK! The hunter’s strange weapon dug into Brandish’s shoulder! As he jumped back to prepare for his next attack he noticed something… That wound hadn’t seemed to slow Brandish down as he expected it would. In fact it had another effect “You…dare?” Brandish took a stance with rage filled eyes “YOU DARE STRIKE ME!?” The hunter rushed forth again only this time Brandish parried the blade and sent it flying out of his hands! Before he could retreat, Brandish delivered a series of rapid slashes into the man’s chest causing him to fall back! Brandish walked up to the fallen man “THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS TO THOSE WHO STRIKE ME!” Brandish drove his saber into the hunter’s neck, killing him! Brandish withdrew his blade, slashed the blood from it and left “Hmph…lost my composure there for a bit…” -- Katara would find herself in what appeared to be some sort of medical facility. It seemed to be abandoned as various stretchers and beds around the place were empty. She took notice of multiple bottles of blood around the place. Although she was disgusted, she decided to take some of the bottles just in case. She pondered though…”Seriously, why can’t I find a good source of water!?” -- As Daenerys explores she finds a lone man who seems to be swinging his head back and forth! He seems to notice her and slowly turn to look at her. He didn’t seemed to be armed and just looked at her with a vacant expression. “Umm…hello? Are you from here?” His head bobbed up and down…I guess he was saying yes? “Oh…good. He continues to walk forward a bit before falling forward dead Well he wasn’t the best font of information aside from the obvious. That being that this place was freakin nuts. -- Kris Allen stumbles upon a man in hunter garb slumped against a wall. He approaches cautiously but it seems that the man had been slain. He notices that he was carrying a peculiar looking weapon “Well…I guess he won’t be needing this.” Kris Allen takes the Hunter’s Saw Cleaver and continues on his way! -- After the introduction, Hitomi would find herself in one of the various buildings in the city. When she exits the room she is met with a grizzly sight “A-aa!!” Hitomi places a hand to her mouth to quiet herself. It seemed that this place belonged to a small family… …and their partially eaten bodies littered the floor. Hitomi’s legs quaked as she slowly walked around the bodies toward one of the other doors…when she heard something THUNK “MMm!” Hitomi continues to try to shut herself up. She wasn’t quite sure what it was but it sounded like loud footsteps… She stood motionless, hoping in vain that whatever it was would go away…but the noise just grew louder as it approached the room. Hitomi breathed heavily and went for her enchanted sword…Daenerys wasn’t here to help her and give her confidence…she could only rely on herself here! The knob turned and the door swung open “HIYYAAA!!!” With a start, Hitomi swung her blade, sinking its edge into flesh and bone… “OOoarugh!” When Hitomi opened her eyes she wasn’t seeing some sort of beast or monstrous being as she had been expecting. Instead it was a man in a suit clutching at his wounded gut Donald Trump’s blood started to pool around him “OH NO OH NO I’m sorry I thought you were a monster or something I didn’t mean-“ “Ooorgrhgh..agrhgh….” Trump had heard a noise and thought to investigate it. Perhaps it was one of the fellows he had worked with earlier…Oh how wrong he was “I-I’ll help! There’s gotta be something around here to…t-to..” Hitomi looked around panicked but couldn’t find anything that could mend what she had done…just a torn up room with more corpses… “I-I…” Before Hitomi realized it, Donald Trump was already dead. “W-what have I done…” Hitomi falls to her knees “I have to…I have to…” Rrrrgrgrghh… Hitomi’s heart froze. She couldn’t even think of defending herself with her sword after what happened. All she could think of was to hide! As Hitomi tried to hide her presence, a hairy beast poked its head in from around the corner, looking around quickly before glancing down at the fallen president. Hitomi held her breath and looked on for what seemed like forever After a few moments…she saw Trump’s body dragged out of the doorway by whatever that thing was… Perhaps she had indirectly saved herself a fight with a far more vicious foe…but that wasn’t what was on her mind. Hitomi manages to sneak out of the building…out onto the monster infested streets! -- Chi-Chi would find herself facing two small beasts! It twitches for a moment before going limp with a whimper… As she finished taking care of it she heard the sound of applause nearby…she approaches to find a roguish looking man leaning against a wall. “Why hello there dear. Fancy running into a beauty such as you this evening. Quite the show you put on…Say I have a proposal…What say we take a break from all the death and gloom and retire to one of the local dwellings for a little “fun” mmm?” Chi-Chi was dumbstruck for a moment…Was this guy seriously asking her what she thought he was asking? In the middle of all this? Besides… “W-wha? Hell no! I’m a married woman!” Reaver shrugged and chuckled to himself “Oh come now that shouldn’t be much issue. It was all so fast, even Chi-Chi barely picked up the speed at which he raised the gun. No, this was no ordinary thug. This was the Hero of Skill! One moment he was relaxed and the next- BANG Blood dripped down Chi-Chi’s cheek… She felt herself…believing that she was shot somewhere and she just hadn’t registered it yet but…nothing. Chi-Chi looks behind her to find one of the city’s various beasts lying back in a pool of its own blood. It had been expertly shot through the head! How had she not noticed it sneaking up on her? When he goes to investigate he finds someone by a large gate in the middle of a battle… “YEAH!? WHO’S FUCKING NEXT!?” SMASH! Negan caves in a beast’s skull with Lucille “YOU FUCKING WANT SOME TO!? LUCILLE IS STILL THIRSTY!” A hunter clad in raven garb tries to close with an axe but takes a blunt blow to the side. He points his bat at him “What are you lookin at? You want a piece of this? I am taking all fucking comers!” Negan stretches his arms out to display the carnage he made Vibe shook his head “I’ll pass buddy…you sure uh…cleaned up here.” “Yeah no fucking shit! I figured something was beyond this here gate so I came to check it out! Got ambushed by these mother fuckers…and when a gate is guarded by mother fuckers you KNOW something is beyond it yet it won’t fucking open! Not even ol’ Lucille here is getting the job done! Vibe shook his head “Yeah well…” Vibe went silent and looked up “BEHIND YOU!” Negan rolled his eyes “Hah hah nice try mother fucker! I ain’t that fucking dense- BOOOM! Stone and rubble shot out as “something” crashed to the ground behind Negan…A giant horned monster gazes down at the man… Negan slowly turns around to meet its stare SKREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAA “Well fuck m-“ The monster swings its massive arm and sends Negan flying! He skids along the ground and groans in pain “Ohohooo that’s gonna hurt like fuck in the morning- ahhh….” Fortunately he had managed to hold on to his weapon! Vibe backs up as the monster slowly approaches them, crushing the corpses below him! “Well I take it this is the gate keeper huh? Doubt its gonna let us leave…” Vibe helps Negan to his feet and readies his spear. He glances back at Negan “Well?” Negan looks at Vibe and then the monster “Fine by fucking me!” Negan smiles and readies his bat as they both charge! REAAAAAAAAAAAEEEEEE The monster swings its arm in an arc but the duo manage to duck in time! They get little reprieve as it swings its smaller arm at them! Vibe manages to react far quicker than Negan and drives his spear into its clawed hand! It’s skin starts to shrivel, but it manages to retreat in time! “Nice weapon, but let me show you a REAL weapon” Negan chased after the retreating giant! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGRAAHH With a deafening roar, crimson droplets danced around it and the shriveled hand seemed to regenerate “What the flying fu-“ The monster crouched and leaped high into the air! He crashed into the ground near Vibe and swiftly swiped him up! “SHIT!” Vibe felt himself being crushed as the monster started to crush him with its large hand! He tried to fight against it with his vibration powers but that only led to the monster trying to double its efforts! It continued to squeeze harder with both hands. “A---aarrrrghhh!” Vibe was about to die… “HEY SHIT HEAD!” Before the giant turned toward the little speck yelling at him he felt tremendous pain AAAAAAEEEAEEEEEEEEEEEE Negan slammed the monster’s achilles tendon with Lucille! After a few moments it exploded causing it to fall to the ground screaming and dropping Vibe It flailed around in agony, trying to get to its feet…yeah that wasn’t going to happen after what Negan just pulled! During its frantic wailings Vibe managed to recover and grab hold of the spear! After a few moments the monster’s head slammed back to the ground with a crash! “HEHEHELLL YEAHH!!!” Vibe coughed as he retrieved his weapon and fell back on his ass! Just to add insult to injury, Negan smacked the monster’s noggin and caused it to explode into gore for good measure! “That’s how you fucking do it!!! That was some good shit!” Negan helps Vibe back to his feet! They both look back to hear the gate creaking open! Vibe just chuckles “Well…gate’s open” Negan pats him on the shoulder “Damn fuckin straight! Lets get goin!” Victorious over the night terror! The two warriors pass through the gate! She ran under a table only for it to be smashed aside! It clawed after her, chomping at the air repeatedly hoping to snag a bit of meat! Tears were running down her cheeks as she continued to flee. She felt a lump in her throat, her heart was pounding, her legs were burning! “AUGH NO!” With a swipe the beast snatches her up. She frantically struggles in its hand as it lifts her up The beast’s toothy maw opens revealing a dark void “N-NOOO!!!” Judy whips out a taser and shoots it directly into the monster’s mouth! It roars and throws her back into a wall. She falls down to the floor with a thud “Mmm..m…” Her vision was blurry but she managed to stay conscious! She lost her taser in the struggle but it gave her a brief moment to pick herself up and get away as the beast recovered. She would inevitably enter a larger fancier looking room. Whoever this place belonged to was probably of high standing! “Gotta get away…gotta…” The beast resumes its hunt as it rounds the corner. Well she had bought herself a few more minutes at least She thought she saw her reflection in those milky eyes. They were almost hypnotic in a way… She shook herself away from its gaze and kept running…but there was hardly anywhere to run anymore! Torn books went flying in a storm of papers as it climbed after her… …and when she thought she could possibly do it…she took a leap of faith! The beast jumped after her.. She reached out… CHOMP!!! The beast…had only caught air! It slams back to the floor as Vaan grabs her and jerks her back over the railing! Together they search for another way out…eventually deciding to use one of the windows leading outside to use the rooftops! -- Dr. Oz travels around and enters a cozy looking building. He enters into what looks like a parlor of sorts with a large wicked looking door nearby. He…decides not to check that out. He instead investigates some of the books which contain various bits of knowledge including some of the medical practices done in the city. “HELP!!” Dr. Oz looks up from his book and peaks his head out the door! He sees a crowd of kids fleeing down the street! Well…he couldn’t just leave those kids to whatever fate was about to befall them He opened the door and motioned to them “In here!” Weevil ran through the door first, nearly shoving the doctor aside with little care “BLOCK THE DOOR BLOCK THE DOOR!” The little bug was screaming at him to do this before they others began shuffling through. There wasn’t much other place they could go with that kid’s condition except… Doctor Oz pointed at the foreboding door! Through there! Hurry! Doctor Oz picked Bobby up as the other children ran through the door! Just as the monsters broke in, Oz ran through and the door shut behind him! It glowed brightly and vanished, leaving only a bare wall for the beasts to claw at! -- As Doctor Oz passed through the path before him vanished. Before him was a long torch lit hallway with darkness stretching out to each side! There didn’t seem to be anywhere to go but forward! It seemed to keep stretching on but they continued their trek toward the exit! “So you’re a doctor huh?” Oz nodded back “Yeah! A great doctor!” One of the kid smiled “Well that’s kinda cool. I want to be a doctor some day!” Another kid chimed in “Thanks again for helping Bobby! You are a cool guy!” Oz felt pretty good about that. He didn’t exactly have the best reputation, but it was still kind of nice that these kids thought he was cool at least. With a scoop it stuffed a child into some sort of fleshy sack before blending the child alive! Yes…here they were the Prey And this rabbit looking thing was the Predator! The monster tilted its head at them innocently before dropping the dead child and gleefully chase after them! Dr. Oz lamented on his failure at protecting those kids. He was the adult yet here he was running away as most of those children were slaughtered! What kind of doctor was he? SLAM! Apparently…a soon to be dead one. The monster pounced at him and tackled him to the ground! He reached out to Weevil “KEEP GOING! RUN!” Weevil didn’t even look back as the monster slammed down its fists and crushed Oz’s head! “Ahhhhhooooh aughghhh!!!” Weevil frantically activated his cards as wave after wave of various insectoid monsters went to meet the pursuer! Mainly where I just feel like sending em as I go ~~(obviously this area being bloodborne)~~ I was thinking over an idea that the "tower" regular floors would get more epic looking or have that Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories feel as they got higher but the Hatred Noms basically ended up in the basement / underground. Of course they could just end up sent to random worlds as they go too again depending on what I feel like doing. Despite how much time has passed, there appears to be no sign of the approaching Dawn as the Moon continues to hang over their heads! Some time after making it past the proverbial “mini boss” Negan and Vibe come upon a crossroads and decide to split up to search for the exit. Vibe isn’t too keen on this idea, but Negan is confident in his own abilities and good ol Lucille to fend off whatever monsters may lie in wait here! -- As Vaan and Judy make their way here, using a combination of traversing the rooftops and back alleys to avoid the roaming mad men in the streets, they would be faced with a peculiar looking werewolf similar to one that had been chasing Judy earlier…only this one seems to have…tentacles…sprouting from various points in its body! It prepares to attack the duo, eyeing Judy in particular! Judy is shaken to her core…but Vaan steps in the way! “Go on get moving! I can take this ugly mutt!” Judy’s eyes dart between Vaan and the monster “Are you s-“ The beast snarls and lets out a screech “GO! NOW! I GOT THIS!” Vaan takes out his blade and aims it at the incoming foe as Judy reluctantly flees. All she could do was hope that the hero who had saved her life would triumph! -- Katara navigates through the back alleys but stops in her tracks when she hears a commotion going on nearby! She cautiously approaches, prepared to attack if it came to a fight She slowly rounded the corner…. MMEEEEOOEOWWWW A cat latches itself onto her face “WHAT TH-M MmMmmmm!!!” The cat continues to claw at her face as she wrestles with it “GEEEYAAHAOOY!!!” Some random lady bursts out from around the corner and yanks the cat off Katara’s face, resulting in Katara falling to the ground! The Crazy Cat Lady hisses at Katara before running away waving the feline over her head! Katara is left alone utterly confused “…What the heck was that all about?” -- Algus heads down the dark streets when he finds a strange being huddled over something up ahead! It turns to look at him revealing a deformed woman with elongated arms and a bloated belly. It appears she was draining blood out of one of the corpses of one of the city’s citizens. “Disgusting.” Algus reaches for his sword. Even if it hadn’t taken notice of him this thing was clearly too disgusting to let live! FWOOM! Algus’ eyes widen as the tick woman pounces on to a nearby wall and leaps off with surprising speed right in front of him! He raises his sword in response only to completely miss as she dives to his side right on his flank! “Shit!” With her superior reach she swipes at him with her hideous claw, grazing his side and drawing blood! This pulls her into a frenzy as she presses her attack trying to draw out more blood from her prey! “Grgh!” As the monster woman swipes at him again, Algus swings his blade in a long arc, catching her at the forearm and lopping it completely off! With a jerk he rips the sword out through the front, tearing her face apart in the process! “Sickening creatures!” Algus nurses his side hoping that there would be no ill side effects and continues on his way. -- Weevil Underwood, having survives that horrible event, looks over his gradually dwindling deck while skulking around avoiding trouble. “Grggh…I am running low on cards…this is no good. I wonder if theres-“ Patter…patter “Eeep!” Weevil ducks around a corner as a small mob of hooded figures wielding strange wooden crosses walk by chanting some strange language. Thankfully they don’t notice him “Grgh I gotta find a way outta here soon! I can’t take this!” Weevil skitters away, not even bothering to investigate what that mob was up to! Probably something just as screwed up as everything else he had seen so far! -- The World’s Angriest Boy ends up in what looks like a small garden. As he passes by he notices a weird “bulb” sticking out amongst the flowers “. . .” The boy merely glances over at it as it starts to wiggle around… Then it pops up, revealing a bluish looking….alien…of some sort. The Boy just stares at it with his unchanging expression! It waddles up to him and hops around while holding out some flowers. Strange glowing tendrils seem to sprout out its little cap. Maybe it was trying to communicate or- SLASH With an eerie gurgle, the little aliens head is cut clean off his shoulders and falls to the ground. Apparently, the World’s Angriest Boy was not in the mood for its shenanigans and simply killed it! So much for that potential friendship! -- Sophia Hess continues to navigate the inner areas of the strange city managing just fine on her own! As she makes her way deeper and deeper into the more dangerous areas, she spots a lanky looking man in a cloak. He appeared to be holding a bag. Her presence seems to cause him to wake up from his stupor. He blankly looks at her and hefts the bag up…great…another enemy? Sophia scoffed and took out her crossbow, firing a bolt right into the man. He would fall just like the others who had gotten in her way so f- WOOSH! Sophia is taken off guard as she finds that he wasn’t taken down…rather, he was leaping right at her seemingly unaffected by the bolt sticking out of his shoulder “What the-“ The world would suddenly become blurry to her. Air shot out of her lungs and pain filled her gut as the main punched her with strength far beyond what his appearance would convey. “N-…n..o” Sophia slumps forward to her knees! As her vision slowly cleared she found herself in a dark room lined with torches and various people in hoods. All of them chanting. All of them chanting… “What the hell is this?” Sophia tried to rise to her feet and reach for her weapon…only to find that they were gone. Even if she was armed…there were a lot of these freaks here. Hell, she didn’t even know where “here” was! However…they didn’t seem to be doing anything yet. Just chanting. “What the hell do you want!” They ignored the girl’s questions “Damn it! What the fuck is all th-“ All at once the space around her seemed to tighten around her and squeeze her in place, interrupting her! Slowly she found herself rising into the air “Agghgrgh- ah-“ Sophia flailed around as some force lifted her upwards! “LET ME GO! STOP THIS! WHAT THE HELL IS THIS! WHAT THE HELL IS-“ Then she would see it. For all her attitude, in reality, she was just a weak willed little girl. Before her was something more than her. Something Great. Something she could never hope to understand. She shrieked in horror and thrashed around harder like a caught fish (SOMEONE HELP! SOMEONE HELP ME!) But nobody was there to help her…nobody would be coming to save her. “WAIT PLEASE I-“ CRUNCH As Sophia cried out, she erupted! Blood shot out of her eyes and then she went limp in the Great One’s grip. After a few moments she is sent falling and splatters to the ground with a thud. The hooded figures crowd around and take the corpse away… -- Prince Brandish would also start to run into more of the stranger beings that lurked within the city. As he strode forth confidently (albeit slightly annoyed that his garb was damaged by that foolish ruffian) he would find what appeared to be a beggar with bandages over its head “Hmm…” The Prince, not wanting to waste time with it, passes it…only to start to hear a “slushing” sound. “What a bother…” The Prince nonchalantly does a 180 and swings his sword in an arc, slicing off the scalp of his stalker! It groans and falls back to the ground “Ugh ghastly looking beggars into this dump of a city I see” No sooner had he finished saying that, the thing he had seemingly just struck down let out an otherworldly scream and hopped back to its feet. A long milky looking tentacle sprouted out of its head and thrashed around in the air as the “beggar” wrestled with him “YOU DARE TOUCH ME!?” Before the tentacle could lunge at him, Brandish swung the beggar to the ground with his own superior strength! As soon as it crashed into the cobblestone, Brandish drove his saber into the thrashing tentacle, pinning it and the beggar to the ground! As the thing flailed around, Brandish stomped his boot on to the tentacle to keep it in place and took out the saber before quickly driving it back into the beggar’s head repeatedly! Before long the freak of nature was silenced Brandish is slightly annoyed that he had to dirty his boots which were now stained with a white looking substance, but shrugs it off. This guy may have been a bit of a jerk, but he had helped her...She had failed to help Vaan but she could at least try to help him! Judy grabbed a knife from the table and leaped onto the horror’s back! With a savage cry she sunk the knife into an exposed bulbous eyeball! “KREREEeEEeEEEE” The tentacled monster screeched and thrashed around bleeding before knocking Judy off! It swings its tentacle at Judy and smacks her with tremendous force, sending her flying down the street into stone! However, the interference allows Vibe to break free and drive the spear through its head! Killing it gruesomely! He catches sight of the injured rabbit “Grrgh damn it” “AAAAARRAAARGH” Out of nowhere a maddened humanoid born of blood sprints at him and nearly tackles him to the ground! He is forced back into the fight! Guess that rabbit would have to fend for herself unless he could deal with em quick! -- “MMmm…u..huh…?” Judy blurred vision sees a red eyed creature crawl toward her. A bloodied monster with rustled fur approached the fallen rabbit slowly! Yes I am mocking you, you little toad. Let me tell you that there are things…powers beyond your world that makes that magic charm on you look like mere slight of hand! I will assure you that Snow White was not harmed by your magic here, and she will remain unharmed even if I were to dismember you piece by fucking piece!” A vision of Snow White appears briefly in the dark, showing her going about her business without issue. Brandish glared at King and took out his saber. It was still on him, ready for a fight! Brandish took a battle stance, slightly calming himself! “So then, care to see if you can make good on that claim?” Even if this man was telling the truth, Brandish’s magic did still seem to neutralize his wounds! It sparkled with multiple colored lights that stuck out even more brilliantly in the darkness around them “I think this will do the trick…” A bead of sweat made its way down Brandish’s forehead as that sword appeared…he readied himself waiting for King to make the first strike… King pointed the sword out at the tiny Prince… …and then simply let it drop from his hand! His head felt like it was splitting as he couldn’t process any of what was happening! This place…these things…assaulted his mind as well as his flesh …and as that host had just finished saying…without Brandish's little scapegoat, he was really just a sniveling worm! “Have fun…” King vanishes away from the distorted space, leaving Brandish alone with the horrors that lied here!
