i wouldnt mind ben shapiro as source if people posted transcripts and not yt videos. stupid arguments are easy to rip apart

however, i dont like processing information in a manner that is so difficult to factcheck. you can't lie with text and get away with it as easily. i can't c+p a subsection of a YT vid and explain why it's wrong

also i read about 50x faster than people speak so these vids are just a huge waste of time

i'd rather people link to breitbart, frankly.

none of this is any form of ad hominem against ben shapiro: it's just an explanation of why people should never link videos as their argument

that is objectively not true, and much of your 'fake news!' argument strategy seems to be built around undermining trust in the associated press reporters such that their reporting can be replaced by punditry of people you already know you're going to agree with before they ever open their mouths

i challenge you to collect evidence on all reporters everywhere to show that their reporting on the news has the credibility of ben shapiro's opinion on the news. i will accept as a response: "that is impossible" because it is an impossible task, but you'll have to recognize you made an impossible to defend claim.

but i certainly do prefer written material for the above listed reasons, all of which are pretty tough to argue against.

Not so fast, champ. All that article says is that they disagree with Ben that Muslims who support Sharia Law count as "radical". Ben distorts no numbers from the Pew Research study, or presents falsehoods as facts, and PunditFact never even claims he does. Apparently, believing in a theocratic doctrine that claims women are lesser than men and that apostasy is punishable by death doesn't count as "radical" to PunditFact.

Disagreement over wishywashy terminology isn't fake news. Try again :)
