I hate the military. My old high school had a ton of military propaganda posters due to having some funding deal for JROTC or something. They make it out to be a fucking video game or something.

The military teaches respect, especially to the chain of command. The president is basically the top of the chain of the American military, so yes, if you are serving, you should respect your highest in command.

Republican presidents are usually better for military guys.

Obama took away hazard pay from my second deployment. That was like 500 a month.

I served under Bush and really appreciated that bonus pay while deployed.

I am still confused as to why conservatives are against policies like that when it comes to non-military people, but want it for the military. (no offense, I am not saying you do not deserve it).

Yeah. I got it during my first deployment.

I was in the NAVY though floating around on a carrier in the Persian Gulf, I doubt Marines and Army guys lost hazard pay

I can't speak for military as I am only entering ROTC 2 as a let-2 (second year) but it's heavily implied to be close to treason to speak ill of the United States and of course the President regardless of your opinion about him. We've been taught this specifically as a rule when we are in uniform but I assume the rule remains the same in and out of uniform. Whether they support or don't support Trump, it is of utmost importance to respect him or should I say to "not disrespect him."

Why respect a guy who literally banned Transgenders from serving in the military? At this point if I was secret service I would just let an assassination go through.
