You're acting like a total jerk. You understand that this stuff is actually common right?

Like, as in it's more common than not for a girl to be abused or murdered. Usually by a boyfriend it seems thanks CDC (-.-)

I assure you it's not as common as you believe.

Stories aren't told about good, normal relationships. So exaggerated exposure to abusive ones mixed with (presumably) personal trauma may lead to your distorted view.

Just like guys who say all women are wallet leeching cheaters who don't want a nice guy, reality is not as bad as your perception.

Don't let events like this defer you. Not tryna be a jerk.

1/3 girls is put into an abusive relationship, 45% of girls are raped in their adulthood.

Put this into the childhood rates (I think 1/6 children is abused)
And yeah by the end of it most girls are abused in some way.

It's no small issue at all

Citation plz.

I would like to know the criteria for "physical abuse", and who was sampled, but I s'pose for now I'll just settle with that information.

I wonder why that happens.

There's a few things that muddle the core issue here.

- No disclosure; carried out in secret.
- Occurred multiple times.
- Video tapings.

All that together clearly puts this in the "that was wrong and wtf were you thinking" category.

However I can see the arguments for defending this if it was a one off thing. Either way if you have sex with your spouse and they didn't wake up at all, I would mention that in the morning. Certainly not keep it secret or video tape it.

Not if it's something you guys do. For her, she wasn't at all consenting and he was recording it and her goal is to surprise and have fun with you his was to take what he wanted when she was vulnerable.

You can't see a difference in the cases?

If this isn't something you're comfortable wth report it and tell someone

No. She could just be like "okay not now" or whatever.
Hell I have a cousin in Vietnam who every time I visit slaps my ass and last couple times I yelled st him saying "I'm not fucking 8 it's not funny or okay" but it's not rape it's just weird and uncomfortable and annoying as fuck.

But she was asleep And it wasn't even that "wake her up to oral" stuff lots of girls want, it was "let's see what ways I can play with her without waking her up". She was incapable of pushing him off. You don't see a difference?

if a man has sex with his wife while she is drunk, is that rape little royal?
if you said yes, why? because it fits the same definition of rape as between non-married people?

well guess what, slapping the butt is the same way
that is sexual assault

so why don't we treat it as it is defined? as sexual assault?

If they're both drunk, no it isn't. If she is and he isn't, yes he should be more sensitive to her feelings. Even if they're married it's out of love not a total "my body is yours to toy with and use as you please" and she has grounds to be mad. Unless they had a talk about it obviously where they don't think that's wrong for they marriage.

Slapping in the butt once no, they're married so to some extent they both have to put up with each other! But if she says she isn't in the mood and he keep grabbing and such then he has a problem there or if they're in a fight and he knows she doesn't want to be with him and he tries to grab at her then yes that's an issue.

In most cases even if she isn't in a sexual mood, that's just a playful thing. She'll probably jump up and giggle or squeal a bit.

So our difference here is a playful little thing that I could do with female friends if we are close vs taking advantage of someone whose mind isn't really working properly at the time. You don't see a difference?

But why though?

I mean, why would he fuck her wile she's asleep?

I've tried starting fucking my wife while she's asleep with the plan she'd wake up and be into it.

Once in a while, she will wake up and be into it and we fuck.

Sometimes, she won't stir at all and I stop after a few minutes because banging an unconscious chick is super boring. She'll usually ask me later if I fucked her, because she'll wake up really wet and say she dreamt we had sex.

Usually, she will wake up and tell me to cut it out because she's tired and has to work in the morning. Then I either go to sleep with her then or play video games until I'm tired.

No, you consented despite not wanting to.

It's rape here, because she never gave consent and was never in a position to give consent.

I don't understand what's confusing here. This guy did this numerous times, without consent, and without communication. Trying to have sex while your spouse is asleep with prior communication/permission or trying to stir them with it is completely different. You never intended to hide it and you'd stop/wouldn't do it if there was a consent issue. This guy took no avenues to inform his wife and continued to do it while recording it.

this is the confusing part

why is it ok to try to stir them up with consent before you pop it in? or by stir it up do you mean sexual assault like unsolicited touching?

I mean, if you tried to stir up a stranger but didn't finish, you raped them

but you are arguing that you didn't rape your wife unless you finish?

No, lol.

I actually did feel like a sex object at the time, though.

This type of stuff is just viewed differently between the sexes.

The situation I just mentioned probably happens with a lot of couples. Sometime, when one person is in the mood, the other one just isn't. It happens. I didn't hold it against her. You shouldn't ever physically force it, though. Unless ya'll are into that sort of kink.

Again. I'm not talking about the situation that the article in the OP is talking about.

The topic just reminded of something in a similar situation.

Yeah, it's sad that it happens.

It's also sad when someone goes to jail for a rape that they didn't actually commit.

If a woman blames you of raping her, you're probably auto guilty in a lot of peoples eyes.

Also happens, but not as often as the former.

Eh I'm not comfortable wth sex, so that's ended many relationshipsnfor me since I'm incel lol.

One guy, before our first date I said "I'm not comfortable with sex, and won't be doing that for a few months" because people told me to be upfront about it
Well that night he was kissing me and I'm like not too into kissing on first date bht like he was fast so I'm like awkward so I kiss back but he started grabbing st and groping me and I was scared af and eventually got away and locked my door and comeptlet avoided him and told girls I know not to really be around him.

And CE called me some pretty nasty names for how I handled it and they said I led him on.

So I think CE will always say men are the victims and men are in the right whateve you do in your life

It's probably because rape is embarrassing and degrading. Most people would probably rather pretend that it never happened, and just go on with their lives.

They just want to bury deep in their mind.

Yes, that's a large part of the reason. They also think they'd get their name published (lots of young girls don't know about anonymity)
Plus the processes they sometimes do are justness horrifying, victimizing, and degrading. Victims have a hard time doing some of the tests cops and doctors try to make people do.

So let's summarize the response from several CE users to this story
- She must not have been having sex with him that's why he did it
- She should have divorced him instead of going to the police
- This is suspicious because some women have rape fantasies
- If this happened to me I'd just be confused they didn't ask
- The story and site are fake
- The story is sensationalist because it wasn't like she was brutality raped in an alley
- A foreveraIone user attempted to use this story to criticise me (implying that it's proof that women have bad taste in men or something)
- That marital rape is just something made up by modern feminism
- Does this mean it's sexual assault if I slap my wife's ass?

You'd think a dude getting arrested for raping his wife would be fairly cut and dry, but nope. Nothing obvious is ever so when deplorables decide to speak up.

Imagine going to jail for having sex with your wife. SMH.

jfc man can you ever post without getting suspended? This is the first time I've noticed you back from purg and you're already suspended again. I remember your homophobic rants from the last time you were suspended and you wasted no time spewing more stupid shit. Just ban the account already.

I did some research, and this is actually a fetish that people pay money for. Some people get off on watching sleeping women/men get sexually assaulted. If you're a porn enthusiast, you've probably actually came across these videos.

Most of the videos are fake, and done by porn actors/actresses. People seem to get bored of the fake ones, but they are willing to pay for the "real" videos, where the victim is actually asleep.

The 'Official Term' for this activity is called "Sleep voyeur" or something similar. Be advised, you will come across explicit material if you look this up.

Fetishes are... interesting, to say it politely.

I wonder if this guy was making money off his exploits?

Can't this technically be tl;dr'd to "incubus"?

I'm not sure that I'm familiar with the reference. Do you mind to clarify?
