We've both realized that we have some problems and there's very little communication between us. We both love each other so so much and we never want to get that close to breaking apart again, so we both agreed to sit down tomorrow and talk about what we can do to make the relationship stronger.

What were you arguing about

I've been having a hellish last 3 days due to my mental problems being untreated and we've been arguing about whether she should come see me right away or wait until the day we normally see each other. I've been wanting her to come right away and give me emotional support but she'd rather stay home and see me on the day we normally hang out. It's gotten pretty heated. The spark that led to me breaking up with her is I don't feel she has a full investment in my well being. If we're going to get married were a team and if one of us is hurt the other is supposed to help. She hasn't been doing that for me.

I have been helping myself. I dropped my current psychiatrist since I didn't believe he was doing a good enough job treating my symptoms and I've been looking for a better one. That's why I'm not medicated right now.

I believe this will get better. I've already apologized and admitted it was a mistake and she accepted my apology and we're going to talk about it tomorrow. As for right now we're still together and I hope it stats that way.

Either way I find it incredibly maninpulative to essentially say "Either we meet up on this day we never even agreed to meet up on or you're getting dumped." You talk about being a team but it's a two way street. Very few times are ultimatums or shit fits the way to go and this definitely wasn't one of them. It sounds like you didn't really consider her point of view.

Gotta cool it down bro. I've got a wonderful girlfriend and when we fight we don't jump to the "you don't care about me, better break up" phase as that's incredibly immature and needlessly strains the relationship. Need to be more cool and collected to make things last.

All of you are right. It was a terrible immature thing to do that will probably have negative consequences in our relationship going forward even if they are below the surface. I just hope if we talk about it and our problems in detail tomorrow we can keep it from happening again.
