That's the main thing I use cash for. I sometimes also use cash to cover for fractions of a bill when my friends and I go out to eat. Like sometimes someone will order an appetizer to share and some systems won't allow you to split the appetizer into portions across a larger party so it gets put one one person's tab and we chip in a chunk for the appetizer or something. Also if going out to see a movie, some theaters we go to have reserved seatings so someone buys all the seats at once and we pay them back later with cash. It might work for you TC, but I think they can only hold 2 cards or cash of that thickness. actually, that might be enough.
