The plots from episode to episode weren't the greatest, but what made the show were the characters and their overall development and arcs during the show. Jon Benjamin's best animated character is hands down Coach McGuirk, even better than Archer. MakoReizei posted... graveyard shows like The Oblongs. woah now. Oblongs was absolutely great overall. Once again, the characters made the show, but overall it had a better overarching plot than Home Movies, but not as strong characters.
