Considering expectations, budget, and everything they had to work with... easily the worst results we have seen.

The fact that they could never patch it into a decent game is just further reason why it's so awful.

I mean there's a lot of games people can throw into this debate, but for me Mafia 3 is the game that deserves that title.

I mean considering how great Mafia 1 and 2 were, 3 is just an unforgivable abomination. It's a broken game that even after all the patching still remains broken to this day.

Eh it was alright, but even that was a mess due to the messed up mission structure. They used the same things over and over again so it lost it's appeal pretty quickly and just felt like busy work.

Eh it was alright, but even that was a mess due to the messed up mission structure. They used the same things over and over again so it lost it's appeal pretty quickly and just felt like busy work.

I'm kind of a sucker for a good revenge plot. The side missions were indeed awful though. Not to mention how dead the world feels.

Yeah, I think I am just hating the shit out of this game right now because I just played it for the first time since I originally got it on sale shortly after it released, I just had to have it because I loved Mafia 2 but it's one of those games where I just get increasingly annoyed with it the more I try to play it.

I mean, being a sandbox game it has its fair share of glitches and hiccups, but the game is in no way "broken". It's playable. A broken game is one that is unplayable due to technical issues.

I got 2 w/ games with gold, so, for a free game, I liked it a lot.

It got repetitive fast. It's too bad, given the good story and characters. The lack of mini games was problematic for the series as a whole. I hated the second one for it... They included a map showing stuff like pool but you could not play it.

Which is exactly why you're wrong. The game is playable. You not enjoying the gameplay does not mean the game is broken.
