o Kid is DEAD after LIGHTNING hit a Tree and JUMPED to his Body!!!

Full Throttle 07/27/17 10:28:59 PM #1:	Did you know that lightning can jump from a tree to a human? Yes.. No View Results 16 y/o Robert Byrd from Alabama was killed after LIGHTNING struck a Tree outside his home and JUMPED from the tree and into the Porch where he was standing on just as he exited the house to see the strike!! The Coroner said that he stepped out of the porch of his home when lightning struck that ran through a tree and then jumped to the teen going through his body and exiting his foot to the ground... Emergency Responders worked on him for 15-20 minutes before taking him to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.. He was a sophomore at Cottonwood High School who lived with his mother and 2 brothers... The family is asking for prayers as a GoFundMe page was launched appealing for donations to help with funeral expenses.. The odds of being struck by lightning is 1 in 1,083,000 in a given year as 47 people have been killed in the last 30 years because of it.. Did you know that lightning can jump from a tree to a human? I'm kinda' doubting any human is fast enough to see a lightning strike, then exit their house fast enough for that same lighting strike to hit them. Every article I've found says that the boy was already on the porch when it struck the tree, then jumped to him, which yes, I knew could happen. The lightning didn't strike the tree, then wait around in the tree for the boy to walk onto the porch to strike him, which was something I did not think could happen, and doesn't seem to have actually happened here anyway. --- Who's your favorite character from "Bend It Like Beckham"?
