I've never played with a prostitute, but I didn't want to reveal one existed in the game since it hadn't come up yet. That seemed like the obvious way to handle an unknown power role, except as such as I felt I could use it to avoid being a painful mislynch.

My flavor says I held onto my castle for months in the war and brought a lot of relatively modern weapons into Japan but eventually fell near the end of the war.

You need to reconcile the first part of this because all we know is you took no action. Thats not particularly concrete towards alignment.

I am making some relatively obvious assumptions here, mostly that scum has an active power role like RB and that there are four scum, but it is highly relevant information to determine how likely it is for me to be scum.

being slept with and not getting up at night isn't really conclusive in a closed set up though, especially a smaller game. i would suspect there is one scum player in a 15 man set up that wouldnt typically act at night (something like godfather/vanilla/rb/[confirmed assassin])

since if scum does have 4 players who would all act at night, and you knew that as a fellow scum, you would likely have gotten up after all

Well, the easy resolution for this is for the prosty to claim, I guess. There are other reasons I believe it was a town prostitute, so I'm not that concerned.

Why exactly would I hint something when I just recently expressed the opinion that it was dangerous information to reveal? I wasn't trying to set this up in advance here. I revealed it because I felt that I would likely be lynched, and would not have wanted anyone to know otherwise.

well sbell makes no sense (but he might be on the right path??????) simply because if sceptile is telling the truth, there's a prosty out there who will be irrevocably linked w/ him

there's no accounted for n1 prosty scan, which throws in doubt the validity of this innocent scan of sorts. until one comes out i have no reason to believe it at face value (though I think the scan existing makes more sense logically). its just as likely (but rather dumb, i guess) that there's no prosty and as sbell i believe MAY be implying is that sceptile is hiding behind a falsified scan (aka there is no prostitute, and he is wagering there is no prosty, and is trying to vindicate him through these means)

there isn't much reason for scum to gamble at this point though. it isn't some do or die scenario. and its early in the game day. and hell, prostitute does kinda make sense in the flavor i...think.

Maybe, or you have the suspected player perform the kill because they're the most expendable. I would think the second is more common.

tom actually makes more sense -- tom's the type of dude that typically just like...is irrelevant, so a good scan i feel.

but occulam's razor states the following: something something i forget.

but basically whats more likely: the 2/14 chance that it hits someone that died? or the 12/14 that it hit a living player.

now this isnt foolproof by any means but it lends a bit more credence to sceptile bs'ing the prosty scan. which seems uh...yeah

Well in this regard (AND a claimed Vigilante!) this seems like a very stacked town. Jailkeeper I see being a strong role, a cop is pretty strong, and a confirmable prosty? And a vigilante.

Hard to see it really fitting. Cop + prosty is pretty mean in 15 imo (in 17 it's fine).

i dunno, set up meta is my old favorite thing to do but i feel like the last few times i got majorly burned.
