After Amy Schumer dropped out of the live-action Barbie movie because of scheduling conflicts, 34 y/o Anne Hathaway is now the leading contender to repalce her after Sony execs have been eyeing her for awhile now and hope to release the movie next Summer.

This is the first big-screen live action Barbie film that promises to get a huge marketing push from Sony and Mattel.

The story is about a character who lives in Barbieland where she gets kicked out because she's not perfect and is eccentric but doesn't fit in the mold. She ventures out into the real world and returns to Barbieland to save it where she gained realization that perfection comes from the inside, not the outside.

The film is a PG film with a broader family comedy film that compares to Enchanted and Big..
