Wow

What an amazing trilogy of books. Ive heard Stormlight is supposed to be even better, but I find that hard to believe. I think Im gonna read warbreaker next, but Im a little worried that its gonna be disappointing coming fresh off of Mistborn.

They're all great in their own ways, but if I had to pick a favorite, yeah, Stormlight would be it easily. You'll see for yourself once you get around to them. Also, good choice going with Warbreaker before Stormlight. You'll know why when you're caught up.

Any questions, though, @solosnake? I LOVE talking about the Cosmere.

Really? I felt the third book was pretty weak compared to the other two. I didn't really care that much about the stuff leading up to the ending, but I did like that ending though. The way the story isn't about who you think it is about
Storm light is absolute amazing and one of my favorite series so far. I have actually loaned it out to someone just so that they can read it. The only bad thing is in the first book of storm light, there is one character who I thought was boring. If you want to read something else before storm light, you can try "the name of the wind".

Right now Im still reeling, lol. Still processing all that happened. I took the advice of reading Warbreaker first from you in a different topic, I believe Leanaunfurled

I really liked how the third book went into the power of Ruin. I love Tensoon, and the Kandra. I also loved how badass Spook became. So many revelations. Ruin manipulating people through hemalurgy and using visions of Kelsier to pit both The Citizen and Spook against each other. Vin's earring, and hearing her brothers voice. Sazed finding faith, there was just so many great moments.

I feel the third starts off worse then the first but better than the second, and it ends up better then the other two.

There's a second series of Mistborn books aswell to look out for they are called: The Alloy of Law, Shadow Self, and Bands Of Mourning. There's a forth book due out in that series sometime though a date hasn't been giving. I feel next year is likely though.

For the Stormlight Archives you might want to wait and start it later this year as the third book is due to come out in November. If you aren't already aware the series is planned to be 10 books in length.

yeah, probably lol. I'm pretty quick to go into any Brandon Sanderson topic, to be honest. But yeah, this trilogy has a lot of twists that I love, like the kandra spy, conclusion of 3, and the ending of book 2 with the well. The latter even more due to the whole Cosmere/various shards thing going on.

Alloy of Law trilogy is fantastic.

Bands of Mourning holy fuck so good.

Stormlight is even better somehow. 3rd book in November!

Also read Arcanum Unbounded at some point (after everything else is best) it's a collection of short stories from each world and it's really really good. Especially the Mistborn and Stormlight stories.

I really enjoyed the first two books, but wasn't a fan of the third. I also enjoy Alloy of Law, but not the second book in that trilogy

When is the best time to read secret history? Is that something I should hold off on until i complete the second era?

I started Warbreaker, and I am pleasantly surprised at how easy it has been to get into. Seems pretty solid so far, not as good as Mistborn but still pretty good

There are minor spoilers for second era in Secret History. So minor I can't even think of what they are, and I read it before I read Bands of Mourning. For sure read it after the first trilogy, though, which you have covered.
