Had them on sale at Heagen this week (upscale grocery store, more expensive then Safeway).

Got about 2 full racks, which I'm slow cookin in the oven at 265 all day long.

Wrapped in foil, slathered with spices for now. I'll pull em out after about 5 hours and cover em with Bullseye original bbq sauce then pump up the temp to 425 to give em a quick char.

Eta for massive deliciousness......3 hours and counting.

I'd invite you all over if I could, will have plenty to go around. Instead, I shall perhaps share some with my neighbors.

I could be persuaded to post pics here though I guess.

Why do you put a double line break between each sentence?

I admit it's not my favorite sauce.

My favorite sauce was Bullseye Guinnes BBQ sauce.

It was ssooooooooo goooooooood.

But they stopped selling it.

Now I just make due with original sigh.

I mostly do a dry rub, the sauce is just so it doesn't get too dried out when I crispify them at the end:)

Do I?

I thought I was just putting one line between them...to make it easier to read. Maybe it does a double instead?

They still have bullseye Guinness here but the point is that's not good sauce. I'd recommend making your own sauce some time, it's surprisingly easy and ribs leave a lot of time to do it.

I have/do sometimes make my own sauce, but I really like the Guinnes sauce. I only use the original sauce if I just want to put a light sauce on before crisping, so it doesn't dry out.

If I could get the guinnes bullseye sauce though I would send for it through amazon etc. When I looked last it was not available anywhere. I like it more then my own sauce, or any other sauce I have tried. I was almost addicted to that sauce it was soo good (Starting to sound like Rick here).

Seriously though, I loved that sauce. Gonna check and see if it's available online now or something.

Perhaps it is something (alcohol content) that prevents it's sale in the US, but the only place I can find it is in Walmarts in Canada.

I am not sure if I can get it delivered here from Canada or not, but it would probably be a bit expensive. Still worth it I guess (it's seriously my favorite sauce).

Not only me btw, do a search and you'll see that there are many people that will only use that sauce, or who have kids that only eat meat with that sauce on it etc, it was freaking good.

Seriously sad when it was no longer available, and I have not used BBQ sauce very much since then (usually only to keep things moist etc at the end, not as my main source of flavor).

I can make a decent sauce, but yeah, nothing ever came close, no clue why, but I loved that freaking sauce.

I guess I figure if I keep supporting bullseye maybe they will bring it back heh.

Where is here? I am searching all over the net and can only find it in Canada, and they won't ship to the US. It's sooo frustrating. I wouldn't wanna just buy a few and then never have it again, I'm still not over losing access to it and don't really use any other sauce, but eventually the taste memory will fade and other sauce will be ok again.

If I could get a constant/steady supply though, I would totally start ordering it. I can't believe they stopped carrying it all together in the US. I'm guessing there was alcohol content in it, and it was being sold to minors or something, cause nothing else makes sense.

If you have not tried it, and you can get some near you, it's totally worth trying. Not everyone falls in love with it, but you'll see enough people frantically searching for it, that it's certainly not just me either. It's delicious!!

Arrrgh so wish I had it for my ribs tonight hehe. I made beef ribs OFTEN when that sauce was around (and more steaks etc).

I switched to a thick terriyaki sauce which I use with most of my steaks now. No other BBQ sauce satisfied me. So it's either dry rub, or terriyaki at this point.

You do. There's a line break to end the first line, then another line break to make the next line blank. It looks like this:

LQEfAVm

A single line break after each sentence would be this:

"Had them on sale at Heagen this week (upscale grocery store, more expensive then Safeway).
Got about 2 full racks, which I'm slow cookin in the oven at 265 all day long."

Ahh, I put the line break to give some space between the letters, it can be hard to read when they are scrunched up (at least for me), so I do it to make it easier for everyone else as well.

Uh in canada. I've shipped goods to Americans with some frequency. If you're willing to pay for items and shipping and want the sauce I'd be fine with mailing it to you. I used to have the same arrangements with Canadians when I lived in the US and couldn't get things.

Sweet, yeah that might be nice. My ribs totally didn't come out tonight though, they where not tender and kinda dry, no clue what went wrong.

Oh well.

Saved half of em, maybe I can do something to make them better tomorrow.
