Picked up S2 this morning. I haven't played the first one, but I'm having fun so far. I think I'm bad at it, though haha

As for D2, the beta finished downloading and I'll probably be playing it with some friends tonight. I hope I end up liking some of the changes from D1.

I'm playing Splatoon 2. My cousin was on overwatch earlier, and I didn't want to cause lag, so I didn't update or go online, just going through the story mode unlocking stuff. He just left, so I'm updating it now and will hop online for a while when it finishes.

I haven't tried much single player yet besides the Salmon Run tutorial, which seems pretty cool. Looks like later waves of that mode gets hectic real quick. That serpent-like boss makes me uneasy!

the d2 beta is fun, but it literally just feels like an expansion to d1, considering everything is the same. animations, graphics, the basic enemy animations and ai, everything.

That's the impression I was getting from the trailers. I enjoy D1 and I hope the gunplay is still great but I also would like 2 to feel like a sequel rather than an expansion. I'll likely miss 6v6 matches, too.

Yeah it's the 'sketchy' building right next to the online lobby building. I think you have to be rank 4 to try it.

I wanna get Spla2n so bad but alas I spent my money elsewhere :(

Aha, I see. I found it in the multiplayer Lobby, but it wouldn't let me in by myself. It had a chart showing the monsters though. I always had a blast playing multiplayer with my cousin in the first one, might have to invest in a second controller soon.

D1 turned around drastically when they released TTK , and they kept it up for RoI, and presumably D2.

I'm loving Salmon run. I accidentally ended up with like 80,000 extra coins I didn't know I was earning. Currently a 'Go Getter" and it's pretty tough.

Destiny 2 beta is okay, the new/redone supers for the classes are cool and but that's about it. each class has a new ability unique to them but with the exception of the Titans they kinda suck and aren't worth bothering with sometimes, it also doesn't matter what subclass you use they both use the same one, unless there's more in the full game its pretty disappointing.

It feels more like Destiny 1.5 than a new game, and I fully expect them to still try to nickel and dime you for the DLC.

Yeah Salmon Run is great. My rank is still low but it's pretty chaotic with the random weapons and multiple bosses. I think we're friends on Wii U so I'll send you a friend request if you ever wanna play together (LeoZeo).

My friend bailed on me but I still had fun with the beta. But it definitely does feel like Destiny 1.5. The new supers are pretty cool; I like having 6 shots with the Golden Gun now. 4v4 is ok but I still prefer 6v6.

I was gonna order from Amazon but I wanted to play day 1 and I was afraid of that happening so I just preordered at Gamestop. Sorry to hear that happened to you!

Try the dual pistols. It will actually allow you to survive one-on-one fights.

I do get splatted by Dualies a lot. I think I'll give 'em a try. The dodge roll seems useful to have.

The dodge roll is super nice. I think they're one of the best weapons for this reason alone. For Turf Wars, it's all about the Aerospray guns though. The amount of ground you can cover is absolutely ridiculous.

Yeah I noticed that while I don't splat others as much with the Aerospray, my score is usually really high at the end. It's a really good weapon in this mode.
