Casino Royale was great but grossed about $600M. Then QoS is widely regarded as a huge disappointment and grossed less than Casino Royale.

The actual reasons, that have nothing to do with people thinking it's a good movie (since it's absolutely not) are:
- was made pg-13, unlike the old bond movies - was released in more markets, and the population increased to 7 billion (and counting) since casino royale and quantum solace days. It being shot in china certainly helped win that chinese audience --- ... Copied to Clipboard!
