Are you a violent person?

Personally, I'm not. I may be passive aggressive, but I'm not very good at holding a grudge, especially for a long period.

How about you?

Short fuse. It takes a lot to light it but once it's lit forget it.

I have the best temper of anyone I've met in my life. I have never yelled at my wife and i've been married 13 years.

Nah, I find words more effective. I'm morally opposed to most forms of violence. I've found in life that those that aren't swayed by words, are usually swayed by psychological pressure. If they won't listen to your words, they sure as hell aren't going to co-operate if you get violent.

This made absolutely NO SENSE.

My lack of sleep is probably effecting my writing.

Basically, violence isn't very effective because it makes people resistant to you. If someone won't be convinced by words, violence is probably not going to work. The only thing that works at that point is intimidation or other forms of manipulation.

No, all the violent people I've known have ended up lonely af, blaming everyone else for their sad situations whilst adamantly claiming to "not give af".
The best way to look like a childish idiot is being violent.

Nope.
I don't mind being violent, though if I get into a fight I can't talk my way out of. I just don't see the point in breaking someone's nose when you can leave mental damage that's harder to recover from.
"Oh no, my nose is broken! Looks like I'm in pain for a short few hours ;_;"
Or you can just mentally break them so they cry like a baby.

Growing up I was the opposite of a violent person. However, over the past couple of years, that has changed. I've grown tired of people (particularly my own family members) not treating me with the respect I deserve. This has started to turn me into a violent nazi.

Extremely. I get mad easier then a lot of people I know, and stay mad for a long time. A long time ago, I would resort to violence with little provocation. When I was a teenager and something went wrong, I'd lose it. Printer out of ink? Smash printer. Internet slow? Put router through sliding glass door it's sitting next to. Guy at the bar slams into me? Smash guy's face.

Thankfully, I'm incredibly good at controlling it now. I still get mad, sure, but I don't do anything. It's just not worth it.

Oddly enough, I don't get angry in relationships. My parents were big into the screaming, smashing shit, throwing dishes, the whole ordeal. I refuse to do that. At the first sign of a fight, I will leave. Usually the area, sometimes the entire relationship. I just won't do it.

No. I take great care to remain patient and level-minded. Violence doesn't really solve most of life's problems, and I abhor it. Much better to talk things over, and I have a very tight grip on myself so if I get mad(doesn't happen often in the first place), I can just cool down with minimal effort.

But I do have kind of a nasty side once I do snap. It takes a hell of a lot for things to deteriorate to that point and push me so far(never happened even once for the past 10 years, at least) but if it does I see red and lose all control of myself. It's a bad thing that runs in the family, I presume, as both my father and brother share that tendency to go completely ballistic if they lose their temper, but I'm thankful that I have a much longer fuse than them.
