Paul Racist Congemi made the remarks during a town hall forum and went off topic on job opportunities for youth and directed his attack on the black people in the room and said "Mr Nevel, you and your people you talk aboout reparations. The reparations that you talk about Mr Nevel, your people already got your reparations. Your reparations came in the form of a man named Barack Obama".. That remark outraged the crowd where the audience yelled "Get out of here, get out of here" and he tells them "My advice to you if you don't like it here in America, planes leave every hour from Tampa Airport, go back to Africa. Go back to Africa, go back!!" 27 y/o Democrat Jesse Nevel, who is actually White is the national chairman of the movement that organizes white support for black led community social justice and dismissed his non-facto remarks. Except for literally none of that is necessarily true. First off, not all blacks descended from slaves. Secondly, and more importantly, countless whites immigrated to this country AFTER slavery was abolished and, even the ones who lived before, most weren't rich enough to own slaves. And what about the blacks descended from a slave and a slave-owner as was a relatively common thing at the time? And third, and perhaps most ironically, at least some US blacks are descended from slave-traders and, in some cases, some of the blacks who came as free men owned slaves themselves.
