-When I called you on it, you snipped out my reasoning, and just kinda apologized for the poor taste rather than addressing my concern that it was a scumtell.

I was not in a good mental state last night. The boys got me up at 4:45 and then I did math all evening. I think I'm right about Oddity being a flighty town. That's why my vote on Death for bandwagon. I would've happily voted for Dowolf, LoLo, and less so Phoenix. So, yeah since I compared him to you, I thought I'd get your input.

100% disagree btw. Oddity is fucking deadly. He is not a flighty person. At all. He went up against a hyped town Chris in Dark Tower and he beat him. I don't have many losses on my record when I am at the height of my town power.

This is my lunch mobile post. This post is wrong. I am very flighty day 1. My vote goes in a lot of places as my suspicions change. My suspicion of you Chris is all gut. Think I said that before. I see it as Oddity realizing his Scare vote looked bad because he mentioned not trusting you earlier, and backpedaling while trying to justify his Chrisparanoia

he may be scumbuds with Scare because he didnt try to revote Scare
but the fact that he didnt revote makes me think Oddity never had much faith in the vote to begin with and that he was just doing it to look active/towny

and the more I think about it that way. The more I can see a scumOddity voting a townScare like that too..

It's moreso the fact that if you know what you would do as scum then you can do the opposite. It's the most basic of WIFOM.

Yeah so the last game I remember Scare Scum in he was called scum by most of town, but nobody ever pursued it. Ended up surviving through the entire game with a survivor claim near the end.

Gut, mostly. I think you have laid a strong case that Oddity was more insightful in the previous game than he has been in this game, but there's enough random factors that can impact that that I'm not convinced.

I'd ask why you felt like you needed a pressure vote in the first place if all you wanted was an answer (and scare's answer wasnt even that great IMO)

I think most people are focusing too much on the chessboards aspect of Scare, but to me the real thing that is bothering me is his plum vote early. It seems really odd to expect plum to react to a minor conversation that happened in the post game and expect to know it, and his response to how he should know (masterplan!) doesn't really cut it for me. I feel like this part has largely been ignored, but to me it just seems like a really weird and forced conversation. At first I thought he was making those votes early just to spread reactions, but pages later he was still running with those same exact thoughts and not much else. Just doesn't add up.

Some other thoughts from what I read when I caught up:

I like Sceptile and Tom a lot (Sceptile does seem brash instead of just lurky, and while I don't completely understand the numbers behind Tom's chart completely it seems like a lot of effort for scum to do.) My gut doesn't like dowolf, but after last game I'm pretty apprehensive about lynching him. Oddity is an interesting case, I'm not so much interested in the flighty vote part (he has made some odd votes in the games I played with him) but his reaction change to Chris compared to Mercs 4 does definitely feel different, as death pointed out. I agree that that part doesn't look great, but I still would rather pursue Scare right now.
