I'd work 3 13hour and 20 minute shifts if I still had an employer and the option was available.

I used to do 12 hour night shifts Monday - Thursday and have the rest of the week off so sure.

Fuck yeah. Ten hour days kinda suck, but an extra day off is so damn worth it.

Why would anyone vote "Yes" rather than "I would like to be able to go back and forth from five day work week to four day work week as I choose."?! Having the option of switching back and forth is purely beneficial.

Of course I know the answer; it's that people who voted yes didn't bother reading the other options.

The vast majority of people would prefer that.

The reason most people don't get to do it is because people are typically noticeably less productive on 4 ten hour days compared to 5 eight hour days.

I have the option to do that at my current job, and tried it for one pay period. It'd be great to do regularly if I lived closer, but since my commute is 45-60 minutes I'm going with another flexible schedule (eight 9-hour days, one 8-hour day, every other Friday off).

I'd think 3 ~13's would make for some pretty miserable workdays, but I'd give it a try.

I would much rather have Wednesdays off, instead of Fridays.

Because that way, instead of a five-day week or a very similar four-day week, it effectively turns into a pair of much shorter and more manageable, two-day weeks. ^.^
And likewise, there isn't all that much difference between a two-day weekend and a three-day weekend; whereas instead having a day to rest and recuperate in between, would feel much more beneficial.


For the exact same reason, I'm always irate at whoever came up with the contemptible idea of moving holidays specifically in order so that they fall on Mondays. >.<
I would much prefer to have them on a Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday, instead of on a Monday (or Friday).

Very similarly to how I just said.
I feel that this looks like it might perhaps be interesting, but only if it's Monday, Wednesday, Friday.
(Or any other three well-spaced-out days too (although doing such would require incorporating a Saturday or a Sunday);
e.g. Monday, Thursday, Saturday;
Tuesday, Thursday, Sunday;
or anything else like along those lines.
That is, I don't really care which days they are, only that there's adequate time to rest and recuperate after each one.)


On the other hand, I feel 3x13 would be an utter nightmare if it were something like Tuesday-Wednesday-Thursday, or Monday-Tuesday-Wednesday, or such. >.<
