I thought it would better me and teach me about life and I mean it did but I wanted it as knowledge not how it randomly intrudes my mind and makes me sad.

It won't happen all the time but for some reason, whenever I think of something really nice and happy like a childish funny cartoon or a light hearted video game memory, my mind will work against myself to make me unhappy and will bring up my worst saddest things which is some of those videos. I wonder if it'll ever end.

Some guy getting his legs chopped off by people with axes. He wasn't even screaming he was just saying "stop guys, stop it already" calmly as if someone was shoving him around rather than chopping off his legs repeatedly

And

Some guy who killed himself with rat poison and you watch him start shaking and convulsing, blood coming out of his eyes while his friend records him instead of helping and plays some cheerful sounding foreign song that sounds like it could have been played at a kids birthday party

It only affected myself because I don't think I should really watch it.

Like, there are videos of accidents that happen on CCTV cameras in China and some are so bizarre and out of nowhere that it's hard not to laugh. Not at the fact that someone died, but the way it happened. Like the guy getting hit with a runaway tire from a car on the highway. It zones in on this one guy like a football field away like something out of a movie. It's like watching loony tunes but with real people.
