Insurance.

Getting shot will generally costs 100k+ overall in medical bills assuming you survive.

That massively effects health care and the price of it.

Yet everyone should have a gun. And it's great when a criminal gets shot, definitely worth the massive amount of tax dollars spent putting him in jail and taking care of his medical bills...

But the guy who just found out he has cancer and is disabled now is probably a waste. Or something.

Overeating impacts health care costs in America far more than guns.

You're literally four times more likely to die from medical malpractice in America than by a gun - even if you include suicide.

That's another thing that happens to be big in red States too. Obesity and welfare.

I can't understand these people. Most of their logic seems to amount to "I don't want the government to stick it's nose in my life and only my life matters. " I shouldn't have to pay for those who can't work and if I didn't the government could obviously make jobs with the money I don't want to give them."

"Also healthcare costs way too much, so I shouldn't have to pay for others even though my party's policies drive it up"

What I can't understand about Democrats is that they're supposedly fighting for equality and helping the poor and historically disenfranchised, yet the cities they've had control over for literally decades have been and still are the most segregated in the country and the disparity of wealth in these segregated areas and school systems are shockingly bad.

While there is a lot of segregation, you can't purely blame democrats. Both sides do it quite a bit. I actually found a handy list showing top segregated cities

One last one

http://madworldnews.com/u-s-map-racial-segregation/

I'm just saying. Like I've said many times, I'm ready for a third party that can meet in the middle. I know lately it seems like I'm "siding" with the right, but really I just see so much more people throwing shit at republicans, that I just feel the need to show the dems that they need to stop acting like their shit doesn't stink. I would love nothing more if both sides can step back and admit that there are things they're both wrong about, and intermix ideas to form a middle ground.

All political discussion is these days is personal attacks and insults and yelling until you get their way. That is literally what babies do. They cry until their needs are met by their caretakers. We're all above that petty shit.

And how many of those top cities have been led by Democrats for a significant amount of years? Detroit, NY, and Chicago are all prime examples, and they've been governed by liberal politicians for a very long time, under many many different federal party rulings, but they've been that way through all of them. They're the common denominator.

I admitted that democrats may be somewhat responsible.

However, it would be very dishonest to put all the blame on democratic leadership alone. While most big big cities are democratic, the larger amount of diversity in an area, the more segregation. The segregation rates won't seem as high in a general in the south due to the population and lack of diversity. There are many factors and just pointing out that some of the biggest ones have been under democratic leadership and claiming it as the sole reason is very dishonest.
