Went to a couple stores today and they had the super cheap-o off brand wired ones, but what if I want a mid range set with wires? Why do I even bother going to the store for anything other than food when Amazon exists? God, but I hate waiting for things to ship, and I don't order enough to make Prime worth investing in...

Uggh, why does life suck so much? God!

It's to prevent people from accidentally slicing through the wires with their swords

That iPhone came out that removed the headphone jack so Bluetooth "sports headphones" became really popular.

Couple that with the gym culture and you get your answer.

The gym culture is really into heard mentality so you can assume a lot of them own iPhones.

I still use old ear buds on the bus / at work and my G933s at home. No way am I bringing my G933s everywhere I go.
