It gives me just the same satisfaction and feel as Super Meat Boy while having its own unique gameplay intact. It's still challenging 2D platformer where you can collect shit and do secret levels, but it also has a little spritz of metroidvania in there, as well.

Halfway through The Machine stage and it's my favorite so far. Also finally got a damn key so I can go back to previous level and check that shit out. And I have 195 tumors so I need to find another one of those Future stages, except I forgot where it is lol.

I did figure it out, you start getting an extra key in The Machine and I was having trouble finding it. Finally did, though! 100% the first world with big tumors and the cart, will slowly make my way through the rest.

I'd still say there's wall jumping, it's just very limited with where it can be used. I'd say the biggest difference is that there's no run button.

I don't know about you, but I constantly held down the run button in meat boy, and i 106% the game. And Ed himself said there's no wall jumping in this game so that's good enough for me.

It's similar, but the feel of the gameplay itself is really different.

Got to Nevermore, just need to get the few carts in The Future and do the mini-games and I almost have the entire game 100% then. Might try the speed run and under 200 death achievements, then, on a new file.
