I doubt it. There are not any 240Hz tvs on the market and current consoles barely do 1080p60fps.

Also 4k 240Hz is like 99.9% niche on PC and no graphics setups can deliver that level of performance unless you're running quad SLI 1080Tis or something.

It could probably run Quake at 4K 240fps.

The games they're actually going to make for it? Not so much. Expect a cinematic 30fps experience with tons of motion blur and blooming, with the occasional racing game reaching for 60.

240 FPS, yeah right. The current consoles can only do 60 with certain games unless it's on the Nintendo Switch which has most games at 60 FPS and none go over 60.

The PC circlejerk would disagree with you. I personally think that 60Hz+ Monitors are a gimmick. People do claim a difference going from 60 to 144Hz.

Ok, the Human Eye, can only SEE as far as I know 60fps.
If its faster than that, our own eyes would have a very hard time tracking what they would see.
And the images would seem too fast to actually see correctly.
TV, is brought to you at 60fps. FRAMES PER SECOND.

It won't release until 2021 at the earliest

I'm in no rush buying a new console so it really doesn't matter when PS5 comes out as I won't buy it until a few years after anyway. The way I see it this gen has only just got into the swing of good games coming out on a regular bases. I'd like to enjoy that for a few more years first.

I think I've seen 60fps TV sometimes. I find it kind of jarring though. It works nice for vidja games but with real people it's a similar effect to uncanny valley
