sans Mario is Missing Hey, I loved Mario is Missing on the SNES. Granted, It came out when I was three, so the period when I played it I would have been from three to six(the target age for those games), but still. Educational games are awesome if you're in the age range they are trying to teach. I wouldn't have minded so much if it had just been a clone of the Carmen Sandiego games, but it gives you enemies that can't hurt you. After the second boss "fight," I shut the game off. I was probably older than the intended audience when I played it, but it was my first truly disappointing video game experience. ... Copied to Clipboard!

...That game had enemies? Oh wow, it truly has been a long time. I just remember having fun learning about different places in the world and never actually finding Mario. It had Koopas (and bosses) that would walk past you rather than hurting you. Jumping on them gave you a clue or let you progress to the next level. I remember just standing still as Morton Koopa Jr. aimlessly ran back and forth without hurting Mario. After jumping on him a third time, I quit the game. The Carmen Sandiego games had fun little cut scenes for when you'd capture a culprit. Mario is Missing more or less placed you in a boxing match against a guy who never lifted his gloves. It would have been better if levels had simply ended levels with a static image of a Koopa Kid saying "Luigi has outsmarted me!" ... Copied to Clipboard!

You know, if rejuvenating interest in Star Fox isn't one of the primary goals of the SNES mini, the folks at Nintendo are fools. All they'd have to do is more or less recreate Star Fox 64 using better graphics and Star Fox 2 characters and they're in like Flynn.

It's like saying "I wish there was a remaster of all three Crash games" after someone posts a pic of the already existing Crash trilogy. Saying "I wish Starfox Zero had better controls" would have been a more appropriate and more informed sounding post. Saying "I wish Starfox Zero had better controls" would have been a more appropriate and more informed sounding post. Exactly. Star Fox Zero was exactly a recreation of Star Fox 64. To the point where it'd almost be a remake if it were any closer. Pretending it doesn't exist just because you hated the controls is pretty childish. --- Game collection: http://www.backloggery.com/bakonbitz Gaming channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCwVQm69J7bGScbv3_50C0dA ...
