Contrary to most sci-fi interpretations and previous scientific assumptions, radio waves wouldn't reach much past the outer edge of our solar system, if they even make it that far.

So no, aliens 80 light years away aren't watching the Nuremberg Rallies on TV, or listening to Jazz Age music. Even a hypothetical listener on Alpha Centauri (only 4 light years away) is probably getting nothing but static (at best).
