You don't have a constitutional right to keep your job no matter what you say. You have the right to say it, and the right to not be imprisoned or have the government shut down your right to say it................that's about it

People think they literally shouldn't have to face consequences for their speech.

If you don't like it that's your problem, even if they agreed to follow the rules you laid out for them and are currently violating. Really it's just "I didn't read the rules, so they don't apply to me."
