Board 8 > Just watched through Avatar The Last Airbender

I watched it back when it was airing, but aside from the characters and their abilities I had forgotten practically everything else. So it was really cool to watch through it all again because other than a few plot points, it was almost all like new to me.

And oh my god the feels, this show definitely deserves all the praise it gets. It's so damn good, one of the greatest shows ever without a doubt.

I'm not at all ashamed to admit that I was moved to tears more than once.

What is the best episode and why is it Sozin's Comet Part 2?

I'm watching through right now with my roommates who have never seen it. One of them greatly identifies with Sokka, and it's really been interesting to see them react to all the different characters and actions. Especially everything Azula does. I don't think they're as big a fan of her as I am, but they're definitely enjoying the overall story and characters.

I've yet to see any of Korra except some clips on Youtube, so when we go through that it'll be a new experience for all of us.

I will be starting Korra soon, although I have seen the first few episodes a long time ago so I have a vague memory of them.

Can't wait to really get into that show, but I'm still recovering emotionally from Avatar.

I already finished the first season of Korra. I wasn't too fond of the added emphasis on a romantic subplot, and it kinda worries me going forward, but hopefully it won't get in the way too much.

Otherwise, fantastic show. The first half of the season was good, but the second half was too intense for me to quit watching so I just finished the rest of it instead of going to bed. Can't wait to see where the next few seasons go.

Also I don't know if anyone's read the comics, but they're pretty entertaining as well. Nice way to continue the story of Aang's gang right where the show left off.
