Lucky tales is not the mario killer game. I played the vr. it's good and fun, but it feels sort of like a lesser rayman 2 game. (better than rayman 1 and 3, but not as great as rayman 2.).

but hey what do i know. i never liked the crash triology and that's the number 2 sold game this year.

I will never buy an Xbox. I'm opposed to it on sheer principle.

And no, I don't hate Microsoft in general. Used Windows computers my whole life. If anything, it's Apple I hate. But apparently most Xbox haters are so b/c they're anti-MS in general, or that's the popular narrative.

To be fair, "backwards compatibility" the way Microsoft offers it is horseshit in a bag (ie, it's shitty emulation of only a specific number of games rather than full-on compatibility in the sense you had between the PS1 and PS2).

So on the one hand, yes it would be solid gold awesomesauce if the PS4 was capable of playing every PS3 game, but it isn't necessarily a selling point in any way that makes the Xbox One better, if their version is itself half-assed at best.

Last gen, half the original Xbox game I wanted to play on my 360 via "backwards compatibility" never worked correctly, or never worked at all - I see zero reason to expect any different this generation, and thus have no real motivation to buy a Xbox One to play my 360 games - especially when my 360 still works and I spend 90% of my time on my PS4 anyway.

except it's not shitty, it's 100% perfect emulation, and often times actually offers some performance upgrades.
the reason it's not full BC, is because of licensing. because this is emulation, they have to get permission from the publishers and developers of the games. sony never had to, because they just threw the PS1 hardware into their systems.

I'm not "anti-Xbox", I'm more "no exclusives make me want to run out and get one". And most of the games on there are also available on PS4 (which I have so can just buy for that console).
