When I get home my gf is gonna poke it with a safety pin and drain it (hopefully). Anybody else had something like this?

you're not dying... pimple popper vids on youtube are all about stuff like this. just make sure the pin you gf uses is sterilized... and that you clean the spot...

you're not dying... pimple popper vids on youtube are all about stuff like this. just make sure the pin you gf uses is sterilized... and that you clean the spot...

I'm a professional home picker...

get rubbing alcohol, Neosporin and peroxide.

sterilize a needle via flame.

clean the area vigorously.

drain it and try to get the ingrown hair out.

again video tape it.

Pop it.

Lancing anything on yourself seems too much. It should pop if you apply pressure from the sides like a zit.

If its an ingrown hair, i pop it like a zit then look for the ingrown hair and pull it out. Its euphoric.

Well I appreciate the advice fellers. It's been this way for about 2 and a half days and I didn't know what to do. Never had this problem before.

yeah I wouldn't, like, get a scalpel and cut yourself.

but a pointy needle will get the puss/blood out and you may be able to get the hair out. if you don't it will only get infected again.

when you shave, the follicle gets caught in the pore, under the skin and grows.

I've seen ones get caught for so long they are inches long.

if it doesn't get infected you may never even know you had it.

I couldn't pop it. The area was like a little smaller than a dime and it was just black/purple in color. There was no head. I just lanced it about 10 ten times. A good little amount of blood and clear liquid came out, enough to mostly fill one toliet paper sheet. It's still leaking and I got a band-aid over it. I'm hoping by tmrw I'll be able to get at it again. It was starting to hurt towards the end because I was squeezing it to get the blood, gonna give it a rest for tonight.

And sorry no vids. I forgot to mention this was in my groin region just above my peter. No more shaving the goods for me, we're going all natural lol

I'm not trying to scare you and I'm not saying go right now but there is a possibility it's staph/MRSA.

The groin area is the highest percentage of cases of it.

I'm gonna keep an eye on it, I just wanted to try something at home before going to the doctor. I will if it doesn't get better

my advice is don't wait too long. it can hospitalize you and in other cases cause necrosis of the infected spot.

I had an ingrown hair get like that on my leg once.

They get better on their own, I never even did anything to mine and it went away eventually.

There's something oddly satisfying about popping a cyst despite how gross it, especially if it's a big one, I remember when when I was on dialysis I used to get them alot all over my body but the worst possible ones were on the inside of my inner thighs, my groin and my stomach. The stuff that comes out of them, it's hard to believe our bodies can produce something so alien looking.
