He brought up an interesting point about sharing a bed with someone for the rest of ever, and how that would suck to not have your own space in bed when you're trying to sleep. I didn't know how to refute his point.

I dunno. Doesn't that remove intimacy? I dunno. The older couples I know don't just sleep in separate beds, they sleep in outright separate rooms. Might as well not be together? I just don't know.
For his part, I guess the thing is he doesn't want to live with someone period, like the whole moving in thing. He's quite happy living alone, has been for quite some time, and says he continues to prefer living by himself. I can't relate, as someone who's starved for intimacy but also has extreme trust issues and doesn't let anyone in. --- ... Copied to Clipboard!
