This could potentially kickstart the franchise to a new direction though, if they play it correctly. If they brought out another Crash game in the style of the trilogy, that would be pretty amazing. If a brand new Crash came out with the same gameplay of the first three today it would get destroyed in reviews. I think that having the open world style (like Twinsanity/Jak1) mixed with a few corridor style, fun gimmicks and vehicles, and maybe even Uncharted-esque cinematic platforming sections with Crash's gameplay would be awesome. They just need to prove themselves with how they'd go with making a brand new Crash game. They did the GBA Crash games which were actually somewhat decent.
