Board 8 > Anybody watch The Completionist?

I used to watch him a few years ago when he first started. Looks like he finally got decently big. He was struggling there for awhile

anyways, I randomly decided to watch a video and his Ultimate Marvel Vs Capcom 3 video caught my eye


I have never completed all of the trials in that game and some of them are so beyond stupid and insane. So if a fighting game guy like me struggles really hard with it, I wanted to see this casual's thoughts on the matter. Hes never, ever struck me as a fighting game guy


but then...he SKIMMED passed it. He spent like 10 seconds saying "I SURE KNOW HOW TO PLAY AFTER DOING THESE!" and then kept going

This struck me as way too odd. I'm now getting the feeling he didn't actually do these >_>

Theres no way he didn't have anything to say about these. I just can't accept it

Guess he could've gotten a guy to do it for him or took footage from somewhere else. I remember a b8er said Jontron stole footage from him for his Bootleg Pokemon Video so its not above these guys

Yeah I doubt it.

On trophy/achievement sites fighting game trials are the reason those games get 9+/10 difficulty ratings. You can't just do them in 5 minutes unless you're already a guru.

It would probably be very easy to just look up his achievement list. Like, I'm sure somewhere his Xbox Live account name was somewhere if anyone cared enough to look through a ton of his videos for it.

But I'm more curious about how The Completionist compared to the Ace of Games. Does the Ace of Games truly consider Gerard a completionist?
