I'm on the fence about getting the first dragon quest heros since it's on sale. I heard mixed reviews about both of them. Do you think it's worth picking up for $20?

After doing more research, the first DQH was often reviewed as being way too easy, with no challenge and not much fun. DQH2 on the other hand was reviewed as more fun/interesting and better over all in every way. Should I just wait and get DQH2 (it's on sale 33% off, but I'd wait for a bigger sale personally). @wolfy42 haven't played the first dqh. only this one and have put about 30 hours in. getting somewhat stale and repetitive but still fun. my son and i take turns so it doesn't get that boring. where do you see the first one for $20 because i want to pick that up

well her magic reflect lets you attack him without ever getting hit other than curse but that's slow and easy to evade turns the fight into a joke
