My wife has the habit of doing this (she says it saves time).
Besides the minor inconvenience of having to look in the tub for the toothpaste when it's not by the sink, this has led to a far greater mishap that has quite ruined my morning. --- Nobody is perfect. Well, one guy was but we killed him. ... Copied to Clipboard!

I do once in a while, not very often, but I put the toothpaste on the brush and then go upstairs. I don't take the tub with me

I do this every time. But I put toothpaste on the brush first, then jump into shower.

Ok, so there are a few quirky people that do this regularly. Glad I'm not alone in finding this wierd for various reasons.

I don't see why you would think it's weird. It saves times, you don't have to worry about any mess, and it's easier to rinse. You clean the rest of your body when in the shower, why not your teeth too?

That seems like a huge waste of water.
Also, how does it save time? You still have to go through the same motions, whether you're inside the shower or out - you'd save maybe one second of time turning the tap on and off, but that's about it. --- Kill 1 man: You are a murderer. Even if you clean the shower regularly mold is always growing in there. Even if you can't see it. Setting a toothbrush down anywhere in there just skeeves me out.
