I've actually seen certain Republicans say things along the lines of if they can be there, they obviously aren't so disabled that they can't get a job, that they're lazy dems for not being at work instead, and even certain mentions of how if the left truly believe in evolution, we shouldn't feel the need to help these people.

And of course the only video up now is the one of officers gently removing a woman, ignoring she and others could very likely die if they lose their insurance.

Oh course it's noteworthy that a bunch of disabled people staged a protest against this bill. They're disabled, and the effort their making despite their conditions puts fully-abled people like you or me to shame. They also wanted to put leadership in the awkward position of having to forcibly remove peaceful demonstrators who are clearly non-threatening because it makes for great TV, and makes the leadership look bad.

If you're against this purely on the basis that you think people should be able to congregate and protest in that building then we really have nothing to argue about. If the fact that they're disabled has anything to do with you thinking this wrong, or that it makes it more wrong to remove them than it would be to remove able bodied people, then I think you're unnecessarily coddling people in wheelchairs.
