In a world full of animal abusers and eaters, one person, one vegan animal rights activist, takes on a large group of carnivores. But she can't do it all at one, as she has to carefully pick her battles. She goes alone, on a message board one calls Board 8. She gets attacked for advocating for animals, viciously. Her critics are like the carnivores attack their prey. No allies, only enemies. Much like a pack of wolves surrounds a lone doe, this person is faced with nothing but people wanting to tear her to shreds, surrounding her. She fights them all, having no choice. She doesn't falter, she doesn't just hold her own, no, she excels. She kicks ass and takes names of those that willingly harm or kill animals. Every attack is responded to with a burst of wit. Every bad argument blown up like a firework in the sky on Fourth of July, and she sees the explosion as a thing of beauty. All this, for the belief that animals deserve compassion and respect. It's not the popular view. Throughout her life, she will fight for it. She may not see the fruits of her labor in this life, but she knows she is ultimately on the right side of history.

I am proud to say that I am this person. And you should know this person. Respect me for what I do. Stop trolling me and making fake posts. Realize that I deserve respect. I am an American, a patriot, and an Ivy League student. In my spare time, I also like to participate in furry activities, so I don't completely absorb myself in animal rights, I have my hobbies too. So give me respect and dignity, especially when it's often me against the world, or, at least, me against this board. Some of you want me to leave. But I am here to announce that I am here to stay. For the long term.

No. The point is that you can make a choice to not eat animals. You can try to justify it that way, but at the end of the day, you wanted to eat an animal instead of vegetables.
