I'm so sick of seeing people thinking that they care about animals and even bragging about it. Take my friend Kate for example. For the summer, she's volunteering at an animal shelter. I hung out with her after she was done and lo and behold, she ordered a cheeseburger. All while telling me about how deeply she cares about animals and their well-being.

Here's the facts: Unless you stop eating innocent animals, you don't actually care about saving animals. At best, you only care for the ones you see as potential pets (when they should be companions), and so you're specist. Because if you go out and try to help animals and then eat them, you just contributed to the death machine that is the meat industry.

Kate is just one example, but there are many, many more of hypocrisy. It sickens me.

Oh, you think you're so clever, don't you? Until you realize these threats not only do not work, but make you the bloodthirsty one. If you had something against me, you could just ignore me like half this board does all because you can't handle the truth. But no. Instead, you eat some poor innocent animal.

No, the chickens wouldn't be genetically engineered and factory farmed, so natural factors will control their population like they did for literally millions of years.

What I like doing is going to McDonalds. They've got the 2 for $2.50 menu. Get two McDoubles and two McChickens for just five dollars (plus tax). You take one McDouble, open the patties and stick the McChicken inside. Do this for both sets and you've got yourself a delicious pair of McGangbangs. Chicken and beef together are sooooo good.

Imagine you get a pig named Babe because you're thinking of serving up for ungrateful family members that probably hate pork anyway. Even for a modest pig like him, you're looking at needing to feed him 6-8 pounds per day of food. This food needs land to grow before Babe can eat it. Babe will need to be eating all that and drinking a ton of water for literally months, about 3-6 months before he's fat enough to slaughter. We'll say 180 days and 7 pounds of food per day. That comes out to 1,260 pounds of pig food, which could have been human food. This yields maybe 150 pounds of meat. 150 pounds of "food" that could have been 1,260 pounds of food for human consumption. Can you imagine what would happen if only we grew that food for humans and not for meat animals? We could end hunger in a year or two if we were to all go vegan, rededicate farmland for human food instead of livestock food, and then use the surplus to feed people without food. Then there is less suffering for humans, and no more suffering for animals. It's win-win.

But no, you like your meat, so you're just going to come up with fake news about vegans not caring about the environment because we eat plants. But I can't blame you. Carnivores like you will not be the heroes of history sorry to say, but ultimately, you're just being deceived by the meat industry. I have no hatred towards you any more than I hate people addicted to smoking. You're a victim of the meat industry preying on you, and you have my pity. I just hope that one day you can see the light and consider a vegan lifestyle instead of posting arguments like the one you posted.
